The Boothbay Register is in the process of digitizing its newspapers. However, several issues from 1910 to its beginning in 1876 were destroyed by fire in 1945. Some issues were recovered after the fire, but very few. 

Should anyone have any of those issues from 1910 and earlier tucked away in an attic or some other location, please contact Sarah Morley at sarahmorley@boothbayregister.com or Kevin Burnham at kevinburnham@boothbayregister.com 

The issues may also be brought to the newspaper office at 97 Townsend Avenue, Boothbay Harbor. 

The issues will be handled carefully and returned to their owner after the newspapers are scanned.
